- James -

Meet James. A colleague and a friend.

This picture sums up James, entirely. When I first met him I thought he had a slight issue, mentally. Perhaps he does and I'm just able to see through it, but he is one of the craziest guys I know. He's as forgetful as, and I quote, "a sieve with holes in". He has one of the most contagious personalities and an incredibly infectious laugh of all the people that I know.

Meet James.

Falling Stars

A friend told me that it looked like the stars were falling from the sky.. Technically not the sky, because they're in space, but you get the idea.

I had posted this the other day to post itself automatically, but for some reason it hasn't. A friend and I went out one night specifically to capture something like this as the sky was clear, but boy was it cold!

Twenty-five photographs layered to create a seven minute exposure. Levels adjustment and that's about it!

Derby Ferris Wheel

I thought it was about time I started this again seeing as the last time I updated this was way back in June.

So, six months on and a fair amount has happened. I won't go into specifics but I'll start it all off with this photograph. I suppose you could look at it and think that this is how my head has been the last few months, or you could look at it another way. Either way, I'll keep this one short and sweet.

Glad to be back!

Two images, three seconds and five seconds (if i remember correctly).

Ruin; Re-Visit -2-

A re-visit to one of my original photographs. A different angle this time.
The second, but final photograph from the visit to the unknown ruin.

You could see a small glimmer of sun rays coming through the gaps in the stone wall, but no matter how hard I tried I couldn't get the rays visible in the photograph. I tried all sorts, but hey, you can't win them all.
This was the first photograph I actually took that evening. I had literally just set the tripod up and a spotted Dalmatian came running up to me, barking and growling. I shrugged it off, the owner apologised and I carried on taking snaps with the dog OUT of frame.

3 images combined for HDR.

Ruin; Re-Visit

A re-visit to one of my original photographs. The keen eyes amongst you will recognise this at the first place I tried and tested HDR. All be it wasn't that great, though I have to admit that this one simply kicks ass.

I actually managed to get Donna to come with me this time. Spending quality time with one another was nice too considering she usually gets bored when I go into "photo" mode, but she was having plenty of fun taking pictures of her own, which on her 5 mega-pixel camera phone they just simply blew my photographs away ;)

Anyway, 3 images combined. Levels adjustment.
